The Population Council's 2006 Annual Report has won four awards. The Society for Technical Communication, NY Metro Chapter, recognized the report as "Distinguished" and "Best of Show" for technical art and "Distinguished" for technical publications. The international organization recognized the report as a “Distinguished Technical Communication.”

The Population Council works in more than 60 countries conducting research and designing, testing, and improving social and health programs. We are dedicated to enhancing reproductive health, reducing the transmission of HIV and its negative health and social effects, and addressing problems that arise at the intersection of poverty, gender, and youth.
