Global Reach, Global Impact

The Population Council works in more than 60 countries conducting research and designing, testing, and improving social and health programs. We are dedicated to enhancing reproductive health, reducing the transmission of HIV and its negative health and social effects, and addressing problems that arise at the intersection of poverty, gender, and youth.

This Annual Report presents findings from our studies and programs around the world and conveys the thoughts and opinions of people involved in Population Council research—scientists, policymakers, and young people. (PDF)
