Mozambique

In 2006, Population Council researchers completed an assessment of the Community-based Orphan Care, Protection and Empowerment (COPE) project, which provides support to orphans and vulnerable children and their families in Tanzania, Uganda, and Mozambique.

In Nampula province, researchers with the Council's FRONTIERS program provided technical assistance to Advance Africa as part of its project to improve birth-spacing services.
