- Developed training tools adopted by the government as national
documents for use in the design and implementation of health programs
for adolescents.
- Provided insights on parent–child communication, which were
integrated into a World Health Organization policy paper.
- Effected reorientation of Senegal’s AIDS program toward
more vulnerable groups such as men who have sex with men.
- Developed strategies to enable Senegal’s reproductive
health program to better meet clients’ needs through
provision of emergency contraception, postabortion care, and
systematic screening.
- Developed a model for community-based distribution of services used
by the Ministry of Health and partners.
- Improved integration of emergency contraception into the public
health systems of Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, and Senegal.
