AMERICAS

The Population Council currently maintains seven offices in North and South America: one each in Mexico, Brazil, Bolivia, and Guatemala, and three in the United States—the Council’s global headquarters, its Center for Biomedical Research, and an office for its operations research programs in reproductive health and HIV/AIDS.

Council staff members have conducted research and provided technical assistance from Canada to Chile, in subjects in the social sciences, biomedicine, demographics, and more.
