ANNUAL REPORT 2010

Sources of Support

Funding for the Population Council’s work was generously provided by the government agencies, multilateral organizations, foundations, corporations, and individuals listed here. Every donation we receive helps improve the reproductive health and well-being of vulnerable individuals in developing countries.

This support allows the Council to conduct rigorous biomedical, social science, and public health research, develop model programs, evaluate and scale up innovations, and strengthen policies and programs in three areas: HIV and AIDS; poverty, gender, and youth; and reproductive health. Contributions are tax-deductible in the United States and can be made by check, credit card, or online at http://www.popcouncil.org/supporting.

The Council welcomes gifts of appreciated securities, bequests, and designations of the Council as beneficiary of insurance policies or pension plans. All contributions should be sent to Andrea Eschen, Director of Development, Population Council, One Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, New York, NY 10017. For more information, please contact the development office at +1 877 339 0500 or aeschen@popcouncil.org.

We greatly appreciate all contributions to the Population Council. We thank our donors for helping poor women, men, and children in developing countries live healthier, more productive lives.
