Philippe Bouchard is a researcher and professor at the Hôpital Saint-Antoine
in Paris, France. Bouchard has also served as a doctor in Burkina Faso and as a
research fellow at the Population Council's Center for Biomedical Research.
Bouchard was recently received as a Chevalier in the Ordre National de la
Légion d'Honneur, which was created by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802 to recognize
extraordinary service to France. Bouchard was recognized for his contributions
to the field of reproductive endocrinology, for his instruction of both French
students and research fellows from around the world, and for his role in the
advancement of health care overall.
