FRONTIERS PROJECT
Promoting the Utilization of the 1998 Situation Analysis Study Findings in Senegal

For this project, FRONTIERS and the Senegal Ministry of Health (MOH) focused on disseminating and promoting findings from a 1998 assessment of Senegalese reproductive health centers. Ten regional workshops were held, which were attended by 277 service providers from 52 districts. The involvement of the local media in processing and disseminating study findings ensured good coverage of regional workshops. Fifty-five percent of the recommendations developed for the district level, 37 percent for the regional level, and 32 percent for the national level were implemented.
