FRONTIERS PROJECT
Scaling Up Reproductive Health Services for Men

A collaboration among the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), the Institute of Child and Mother Health, and FRONTIERS, this project (formally titled "Creating the Conditions for Scaling Up the Integration of Reproductive Health Services for Men in Health and Family Welfare Centers in Bangladesh") aimed to expand and document the integration of male family planning and reproductive health services from eight to 40 Health and Family Welfare Centers (HFWCs) (see "Integration of Reproductive Health Services for Men in Family Welfare Centers in Bangladesh").

The project also identified programmatic issues and operational problems in scaling up the intervention; built the capacity of the MOHFW and the delivery system; and made systematic changes for expanding the program, thereby creating the conditions for scaling up the intervention at the national level. The project included a cost analysis for scaling up the intervention to understand the financial implications for the program. The objective is to increase access to family planning and reproductive health services for men, as well as their partners, through HFWCs.
