FRONTIERS PROJECT
Critical Analysis of Female Genital Cutting (FGC) Case Studies in Egypt

Researchers analyzed the activities of 15 Egyptian nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) involved in programs to eradicate FGC and developed recommendations on best practices. To make these programs more effective, the project recommended that the NGOs form a coalition, engage in advocacy to raise awareness among policymakers, train activists in communication skills, and evaluate the impact of their programs.
