FRONTIERS PROJECT
Increasing the Coverage of Reproductive Health Issues in the Egyptian Press

FRONTIERS and the Futures Group's POLICY Project collaborated on a project to provide print journalists with information on selected reproductive health issues. Researchers also tracked the subsequent coverage, accuracy, and use of research findings in the press. Four briefings for print journalists were held between May 1999 and May 2000. Over 120 print and magazine articles on reproductive health resulted from project activities, and a network of 20 journalists was formed.
