FRONTIERS PROJECT
Post-test Survey for the West Bank/Gaza Pilot Health Project

FRONTIERS worked with Alpha International to document changes in services following the implementation of the Pilot Health Project, designed to upgrade antenatal and postpartum services in 27 primary health care clinics in three areas of the West Bank and Gaza.

The majority of clients (57 percent) observed improvements in the clinics’ services. Quality of care improved significantly on wide range of antenatal care and postpartum indicators. Contraceptive use among women attending clinics increased from 14 to 32 percent, but use of postpartum services did not increase significantly.
