FRONTIERS PROJECT
Documenting the Impact of Quality of Care on Women's Reproductive Health in the Philippines and Senegal

FRONTIERS and the Rockefeller Foundation worked on this multi-country study that assessed whether improving the quality of reproductive health services resulted in increased longer-term continuation of family planning use. The findings showed that introduction of client-centered service delivery with a focus on the client–provider interaction resulted in better quality of care. However, improving quality of care alone was not sufficient to significantly increase the length of time women continued to use contraception.
