FRONTIERS PROJECT
Training Latin American Ministry of Health Service Providers on Emergency Contraception

FRONTIERS partnered with the Medical Center for Counseling and Family Planning (CEMOPLAF), a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization (NGO) that operates a variety of reproductive health programs throughout Ecuador, to provide training in emergency contraception in Quito, Ecuador, for public-sector service providers from 11 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Researchers also provided follow-up technical assistance on the development of emergency contraception services in selected countries.
