Research Project in El Salvador

Operations Research (OR) Training and Technical Assistance in El Salvador. Working with the Ministry of Health and Improving the Performance of Primary Providers in Reproductive Health (PRIME), FRONTIERS researchers conducted a number of workshops for government health staff on defining problems within reproductive health programs, developing solutions, and using qualitative methods. Representatives from each of El Salvador’s 18 health departments attended a one-week operations research workshop in which five project proposals were developed.
