John Bongaarts, 2013 IUSSP Laureate
John Bongaarts, Population Council Vice President and Distinguished Scholar, has been named the 2013 IUSSP Laureate in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the advancement of population sciences and distinguished service rendered to the IUSSP.
All IUSSP members, friends, and colleagues of John Bongaarts are invited to attend the ceremony in his honor on August 29 at IUSSP 2013 in Busan, South Korea. Please join us the following day at the Population Council booth (#25) at 15:00 to meet and congratulate Dr. Bongaarts.
