EMPLOYMENT POSITION AVAILABLE TITLE: Statistician, HIV and AIDS Program REPORTING TO: Clinical Director, Microbicides SALARY: Depends on qualifications and experience LOCATION: Center for Biomedical Research, New York, NY ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Two years, renewable by mutual consent JOB DESCRIPTION The Population Council’s Center for Biomedical Research seeks a statistician with statistical programming experience. S/he will be responsible for the development, standardization, implementation, and maintenance of statistical programs as well as the performance of statistical analyses for HIV microbicides Phase 1–3 clinical trials and for HIV behavioral clinical research. In addition to supervising junior programming and/or database staff, the statistician will work closely with the Council’s scientific and administrative staff and with staff based overseas.
