EMPLOYMENT POSITION AVAILABLE TITLE: Research Operations Manager, International Programs REPORTING TO: Vice President, International Programs SALARY: Depends on qualifications and experience LOCATION: One Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, New York, NY ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Indefinite JOB DESCRIPTION The research operations manager in International Programs (IP) will work closely with the vice president in ensuring smooth operations of all international offices. S/he will be responsible for seeing that all offices comply with organizational policies and will represent the needs and views of international staff in the development of organizational policies; and will assist in strengthening regional funding opportunities and development of partnerships. S/he will work closely with the Council’s three programs (HIV and AIDS; Poverty, Gender, and Youth; and Reproductive Health), with various departments in Corporate Affairs, and with other New York/Washington, DC–based staff to identify commonalities and to help the vice president in strengthening links between international offices and the New York and Washington, DC offices. The primary function of International Programs is to effectively and efficiently manage and support the Council’s international presence, to link our international offices and offices in New York and Washington, DC, and to promote cohesion, collaboration, and focus in Council activities around the world. The operations manager will work as a member of the IP management team in New York in successfully performing this function. RESPONSIBILITIES
