In Pakistan, the Council is working to build capacity and support evidence-based programs and policies in population and reproductive health.

The main objectives of this project were to enhance and strengthen the capabilities of the next generation of professionals in population and reproductive health in Pakistan through a university education and internship placement program. The project also sought to enhance the use of evidence in decisions about policies and programs through collaborative research and research synthesis, by providing forums for discussion and information sharing and developing links between ministries and departments at various levels of government.
