PROJECT
Pilot Study of Contraception and Abortion in Five Country Settings

The Bill and Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins University collaborated with various individual researchers and institutional research organizations on a multi-country study of the determinants of pregnancy management behaviors among women and men, with a particular focus on their decisions to give birth, use contraception, or seek to terminate pregnancies.

Researchers in the Council's Islamabad office and Gates Institute staff collaborated in studying the correlates of pregnancy management decisions and actions among Pakistani women and men by conducting in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with women and men related to their norms for pregnancy management.
