Planning a Summit on Population Policy

In September 2005, the Ministry of Population Welfare held a Population Summit to advance the objectives of the 2002 Population Policy of Pakistan. The Council's role was to facilitate the implementation of the summit. As such, the Council collaborated with the ministry in planning the summit and participated in the process of consensus-building regarding the program and objectives of the summit.
