This article explores strategies to integrate family planning services into existing mother-to-child prevention programs in settings such as sub-Saharan Africa, where HIV seroprevalence and rates of unintended pregnancy are high. Topics include adverse consequences of pregnancy for HIV-infected women and contraceptive options for HIV-infected women.
