Overview presentation on multipurpose prevention technologies (MPTs) given by Martha Brady at the Day of Dialogue on Multipurpose Prevention Technologies: Toward Clarity in Nomenclature meeting in Washington, DC, 2 February 2011. The half-day meeting was convened by the Population Council with a diverse set of stakeholders to try to clarify the nomenclature and concepts associated with MPTs. The Population Council is playing a central role in the US Agency for International Development's effort to clarify and inform regulatory pathways for multipurpose prevention technologies.
