Population Briefs, the Population Council's research newsletter, is published three times a year. Findings summarized in the newsletter are drawn from peer-reviewed, published research. Other series and briefs

The Population Council produces series and briefs that present data on the situation of adolescent girls and boys and young women and provide background on Council research and programs on youth/transitions to adulthood.

In addition to program briefs and OR summaries, the Council's recently completed FRONTIERS program has produced a series of documents that synthesize the results from ten years of operations research and lessons learned into eight major legacy themes.

Impact

The href in the tab need to be identical to the ID of the "page" div it corresponds to. I used IDs starting with a "p_" to avoid potential conflicts with simlarily names section IDs but it is not mendatory to do so as long as the ID is unique.

What's New

New statistics project more than five million fewer deaths from AIDS in 2030 than previously estimated. The Population Council's John Bongaarts and co-authors François Pelletier and Patrick Gerland address the cause and implications of the revised estimate in a recent article in The Lancet, "How many more AIDS deaths?" BMJ has announced the nominees for its prestigious annual award for "Getting Research into Practice." The Sexual Health and HIV Evidence into Practice (SHHEP) group—to which ABBA, a Population Council–led consortium, belongs—was nominated for successfully "advocating research findings to change the law in Ghana so that survivors of gender based and sexual violence are no longer forced to pay for their own medical tests to prove assault in court."
