Christine Kelly is a staff associate in the Poverty, Gender, and Youth program. She manages the data collection process for Council projects by preparing study instruments and budgets, developing field protocols, training field staff, handling Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions, liaising with local research partners, and monitoring data quality.
When not in the field, Kelly analyzes data from Council studies and takes the lead on peer-reviewed publications and conference papers. She also prepares donor reports. She joined the Council in 2010.
In addition to an MSc in demography and health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Kelly holds a Diploma of Advanced French Language Studies C1 issued by the Centre International d’Etudes Françaises, Université de Bourgogne; and a BA in philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE) from the University of Oxford.
