Mansoor Qaisar is the Senior Information Officer at the Population Council office in Pakistan. With more than fifteen years of experience in program management, advocacy, and communication, he contributes in efforts to develop culturally acceptable communication strategies which engage religious leaders. Qaisar communicates information which is easy to understand, practicable, and in line with religious teachings. He has considerable experience in print and electronic media and undertakes the sensitive task of obtaining family planning endorsement from religious leadership. Mansoor facilitates efforts to develop a culturally acceptable communication strategy through seminars and meetings.
Qaisar works to mobilize communities on a number of projects such as PAIMAN, FALAH funding by USAID. He has master degrees in political sciences and human resource management from the University of Pubjab and Allama Iqbal Open University. Additionally, Qaisar obtained multiple classroom and online training courses from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Peace Operations Training Institute - USA.
