Michael Cooney is a senior statistical programmer in the Reproductive Health program at the Council’s Center for Biomedical Research. His primary duties include designing studies, analyzing data, and assessing the efficacy and safety of the data for clinical trials. As needed, Cooney also works with other Council programs to assist with statistical data.
Before joining the Council in 2007, Cooney worked as a programmer at Healthfirst and a consultant at TEKsystems. He holds an MS in biostatistics from the Mailman School of Public Health of Columbia University and a BA in mathematics and music from Duke University.
