Shih-Chang Lu
Director of Finance
Shih-Chang Lu is the Population Council's director of finance. His responsibilities include managing the corporate budget and forecast processes, monitoring the financial performance of the Council, and providing financial analyses.
Before joining the Council, Shih-Chang was director of financial analysis and budget for the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) where he improved budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis capacities; helped manage the growth of NRDC from approximately $60 million to $100 million; and developed financial processes and policies to support a new China office. Before NRDC, Shih-Chang worked in the private sector for companies such as Sirius Satellite Radio, Reader's Digest, Time Warner, and MetLife.
Shih-Chang earned his MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
