Woldemariam Girma
Senior Program Officer
Woldemariam Girma is a senior program officer (M&E) in the Population Council's Ethiopia office. Girma is responsible for evaluating the Targeted HIV Prevention Project (THPP) and the Preventive Care Package (PCP) program for people living with HIV and AIDS. He joined the Council in November 2008, and his current activities include data analysis on a survey of young adults in Ethiopia.
Prior to joining the Council, Girma was the head of epidemiology and the bio-statistics service at the Ethiopian Health and Nutrition Research Institute (EHNRI) and was also a researcher. Girma received his M.Sc. degree in demography and B.Sc. degree in statistics from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia.Woldemariam Girma
