STAFF BIOGRAPHIES
Rebecca Brodsky
Special Assistant, Corporate Affairs Division
As special assistant, Corporate Affairs Division, Rebecca Brodsky
works on a variety of issues that span the
Council, including knowledge management, policy development, the
internal and external Web sites, and other key initiatives. She also is
a member of the Intellectual Asset Management team, which oversees the
Council’s portfolio of technologies and relationships with
pharmaceutical companies. Most recently, Brodsky was director of programs at the Touch
Foundation, a new organization dedicated to addressing the global health
workforce shortage. She was a program coordinator for the Averting
Maternal Death and Disability program at the Mailman School of Public
Health at Columbia University and served two years in the Peace Corps as
a community educator. Brodsky has experience in fundraising and
communications programs through her work with US- and Canada-based
nonprofit organizations. She has lived and/or worked in The Gambia,
Uganda, and Tanzania. Brodsky received a master's of public health
degree from Columbia University, and she has a B.A. from Oberlin
College, where she majored in biology. |
