BIOGRAPHIES Hac Van Vinh, MD, Ph.D., MPHThai Nguyen Medical College Profile Hac Van Vinh is a lecturer and head of the community health department at Thai Nguyen Medical College, Thai Nguyen Province, Vietnam. His areas of expertise include reproductive health, community health, and development. He has extensive experience conducting research in mountainous areas and among minority ethnic groups in Vietnam. His recent research project attempts to promote reproductive health education among primary school teachers in a mountainous commune in Vietnam. Vinh received his MD from Thai Nguyen Medical College, an MPH from Thailand’s Mahidol University, and a Ph.D. in public health from the Army Medical Institute in Hanoi, Vietnam. He was a recipient of several fellowships including a residential fellowship on family medicine from the University of Massachusetts in 2001 and a dissertation development fellowship from the University of Queensland in Australia in 2005.
