Organizers: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India; UNFPA (India)
How is the Government of India’s flagship programme, Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health + Adolescents (RMNCH+A), enhancing financial allocation and investments in health-care infrastructure, management structures and workforce capacities? How is RMNCH+A leveraging diverse partnerships and multisectoral action to achieve a common, interdependent set of goals and targets? These are two of the many questions that will be discussed at this full day event.
Speakers will share RMNCH+A’s achievements, lessons and innovations and facilitate meaningful exchange among different constituencies, including government, civil society, development partners and academic institutions. The deliberations will offer unique insights for programming at scale and for adapting interventions to the needs of specific geographies and sub-populations. The deliberations will also provide advice on evidence-based advocacy at the highest political level and on how to articulate the next steps and responsibilities of different stakeholders to accelerate the pace of positive change in the lives of women, children and adolescents.
