Join the PC and colleagues for a special lecture: The Bottleneck and the Breakthrough: the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways to the Future of Wildlife in the 21st Century.  In this lecture, Eric Sanderson and Joe Walston will discuss the various efforts required to place health and welfare of the planet at the center of human affairs.  Using an example from tiger conservation, Sanderson and Walston will deliberate global trends, including the demographic transition, declines in poverty, and the pace and scale of urbanization as they relate to conservation.
