In 1953, the Population Council awarded fellowships to its first class of promising young graduate students for advanced training in demography. Today, thousands of former Council staff and researchers are making an impact in global health and development around the world.
As part of our 65th anniversary this November 2017, the Population Council is launching the Alumni Impact Network to foster a community of the many formidable experts among our current and former staff and fellows. Alumni continue to be part of the Council community no matter where they are and the Alumni Impact Network is the perfect way for us to follow and support their achievements.
Former staff and fellows who join the Alumni Impact Network will receive:
- Invitations to Council events around the world, including exclusive alumni and staff gatherings
- Alumni profiles showcasing their current work, insights on the Council’s latest work, and news on career and research opportunities
- Access to a professional network of Council staff and alumni with common interests across the field of global health and development.
