Julia Adams is deputy director for administration for the Evidence Project, USAID’s flagship project to strengthen family planning/reproductive health programs through implementation science. She manages project operations, including report preparation, finances, compliance with donor award requirements and Council policies and procedures, personnel and recruitment, and subaward administration.
Before joining the Council, Adams worked for University Research Co., LLC, on the USAID-funded TRAction (Translating Research into Action) project, providing financial and administrative oversight and leading a team of project coordinators, knowledge management specialists, and consultants. For TRAction, she developed an innovative tool to track progress on 41 research grants funded by a complex resource pool of 10 donors providing awards to 23 educational and research institutions in 19 countries.
Adams received her BA from Goshen College and her master’s in nonprofit administration from the University of Notre Dame.
